Yon utilizes a synergy between modern and classical photographic techniques. Digital capture is used as a “digital darkroom” to recreate the power and veracity of the natural scene. Digital techniques are used only to overcome the limitations of prints, and to recapture the color, the sharpness and the interplay of tonalities that were present in the original experience.

I’ve always loved taking photographs but got more serious about it when I bought my first Nikon DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera in 2009. Since then my camera has always accompanied me on my numerous trips around the world, during which time I’ve found my main interest has become people and landscape photography. Hence the natural progression to wedding and landscape photography. I love to mix the landscape into the wedding photography.

I first dipped a toe into the digital waters in 2009, bought an awesome Nikon D70, and later I bought a Nikon D300 as my primary camera. I’m constantly improving both my technique and kit to ensure that the quality of my wedding photography gets better all the time.
